Taking away Evolution and all the other Pay-Per-Views already in line, WWE has a lot in their backpack to treat the audience for the next 6 months of thrilling action and extravaganza. There are unpopular opinions that might upset the fans, and rumours which are highly anticipated to fall true before the biggest night of WWE. Looking at the current stage of storytelling in WWE, a lot can happen between now and WrestleMania.

Let’s discuss the 10 things that will happen in WWE before WrestleMania 35.

#7 Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker

Let’s jump to this right ahead. Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker pulled off a brilliant promo. Michaels who appeared in the last episode of RAW to discuss Triple H vs The Undertaker for One Last Time had to settle old odds with The Undertaker who appeared in a non-advertised appearance on RAW. Shawn Michaels hasn’t returned to wrestling ever since loosing to The Phenom. While the fans have always desired one last appearance from The Showstopper, Michaels doesn’t seem too interested in coming back.

Talking about his return to wrestling, Michaels has always argued how it can never be against anybody half his age, referring to the new age superstars. But The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels only feel right to come true. The Undertaker teased a match against Mr WrestleMania, last week on RAW. It looks highly likely that the match will happen at WWE’s next big event in Dubai.

#6 Kurt Angle returns as an in-ring wrestler

Angle showed on Survivor Series and WrestleMania 34 that he can still wrestle and there is a lot of wrestling still left in him. That being said, Corbin and Angle seems to be a storyline in place for the Olympic Gold Medallist’s return. Let’s hope for this to happen sooner than later, because Angle’s return to ring is going to send the whole WWE Universe in a frenzy. Considering nobody is buying the vacation storyline.

#5 Samoa Joe will win the WWE Championship

Samoa Joe is definitely going to win the WWE Championship before WrestleMania. Possibly not in the next Pay-Per-View but certainly some time soon before WrestleMania. It’s very unlikely that WWE will put Joe down agains after giving him such a great run in theist couple of weeks. Considering the fact that, Joe despite being a heel has still everybody’s support, nobody will really mind to see him become the next WWE Champion. As for AJ Styles, he can work up his position up the ladder without the title belt on line.

#4 Aleister Black’s promotion to the Main Roster

WWE has found a great prospect in the form of Aleister Black. Black is tall, heavy and has a mysticism around him that can only be compared to the liked of The Undertaker or Bray Wyatt of old days. The former NXT Champion is certainly going to wreck havoc on the main roster and it’s definitely happening before WrestleMania.

#3 Asuka turns heel

There is every reason to believe that Asuka will turn heel sooner rather than later. Asuka’s run in the WWE so far has seen her at the top helm of WWE to barely nothing right now. Asuka’s most recent appearance after a really long wait saw her helping Naomi, and there is every reason to believe that she is going to turn heel to start a feud with his new-found friend.

#2 The Rock’s return

I have no idea about the lengths WWE is willing to cross to push Roman Reigns and this includes a match between two brothers at WrestleMania according to popular opinions and rumours doing round. If that’s happening, The Rock will make his return before WrestleMania to ignite a feud against The Big Dog

#1 Rey Mysterio’s return

Mysterio is just waiting for a call from WWE to return to wrestling full time for them. After making an appearance at the Greatest Royal Rumble, Mysterio’s return only seems to have hyped and WWE will be looking to take full advantage of this to boost it’s ratings before heading to WrestleMania.
